What if it rains?
The Dublin Lion’s Club Parade,. the festival and the Shamrock 5K Fun Run all happen regardless of the weather. Nothing is cancelled!
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, but due to health and safety concerns pets are not allowed at the Festival.
Is there an entry fee?
No, the Festival and the Parade are both FREE .
However, the pancake breakfast, the Green & White Gala, and the Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk all have fees associated with them. Check out the links on the home page for more information on these activities.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes. There will be two (2) ATM’s available at the festival. Additionally, many of the craft vendors and the carnival ride vendor also take credit cards.

Where is the best seat for the parade?
Almost anywhere along the route is good! You may want to bring low back chairs and/or a blanket. Please be considerate of the businesses along the route and not position yourself as to damage landscaping.
There are also bleacher seats located on Amador Valley Blvd between Oil Changers and Lucky Pizza. If you are planning on attending the festival after the parade – you may want to park on Clark Ave since the parade and the festival are a short walking distance from this parking area.
Is ID required to purchase beer?
All persons that appear to be under 30 years old will be asked to show ID - and all persons purchasing/consuming alcoholic beverages must have a wristband.
Is there a shuttle from the Parade to the festival?
No. If you are planning on attending both – park on Clark Ave, as it is a short walk to both.
Will the Dublin Library be open during the festival?
Yes – however the parking lot adjacent to the Library will not be accessible. You will need to follow Festival Parking signs and walk through the Festival to the library itself.
You may also drop off your books/tapes/videos/etc at the quick and easy LIBRARY DROP OFF located in the Sports Grounds parking lot. Simply follow the LIBRARY DROP OFF signs in front of the Civic Center (along Dublin Blvd). Friendly library staff will be there between 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday to accept your library materials.
Where is Handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is located in the Sports Grounds parking lot – enter from the east bound lane on Dublin Blvd – the entrance is right past the Civic Center.
